Online Registration For Indian Citizenship
The new procedure for applying online for Indian Citizenship is available on the Ministry of Home Affairs' website:
A foreigner can apply for Indian Citizenship online from the website:
Applicants can now submit applications online after which an Internet File Number will be generated automatically which can be used for printing of the online application form and for tracking its status. The hard copy of the online application duly signed alongwith supporting documents is to be submitted to the Collector/District Magistrate/Deputy Commissioner of the area where the applicant resides.
