“Narthananjali” Dance Programme

      Consulate General of India in Jaffna with the support of Ministry of Culture, Government of India has been organizing cultural events for the last three years in the Northern Province.   This year again, Consulate General of India would be ogranising four cultural events from September 2014 to February 2015. This initiative of the Consulate General of India would be fourth in series to promote local cultural talents through cultural institutions in Northern Province who are involved in promoting classical cultural dance and music. 

       On 21 September 2014 (Sunday), Indian Consulate in association with Niruththiya Nikethana Fine Arts College, Vavuniya is organizing a cultural event in Vavuniya from 4.00 P.M to 6.00 PM at Urban Council Cultural Hall.  100 students of the Niruththiya Nikethana Fine Arts College would be performing in the event.  Niruththiya Nikethana Fine Arts College was established in 1995 and is conducting classes for Music, Dance and Miruthanga.  College is also conducting free aesthetic classes to poor and orphaned children.  The college  has been organizing cultural events in different districts of Northern Province for the last several years and its students have been participating in various cultural competitions.

ENTRY FOR THE CULTURAL EVENT IS FREE. 

ALL CLASSICAL MUSIC AND DANCE LOVERS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND.
