1. The appropriate e-Visa facility to India is only available in Government of India website;www.indianvisaonline.gov.in and all applicants desiring e-Visa for visiting India may only apply through this website.

2. It has, however, been brought to our notice that many fake websites have cropped up offering Indian e-visa to Sri Lankan and other foreign nationals. Such fake websites not only misguide the Sri Lankan and foreign nationals but also in some cases dupe of their money etc. The list of the fake websites that are offering fake-visas are:

3. It is therefore, requested that the applicants, desirous of availing e-Visa facility to visit India may only apply through the Government of India website www.indianvisaonline.gov.in and not through the other fake websites.

Kind attention for students

Student visa applicants may kindly check with the Consulate whether the Institute in which they intend to seek admission in India, has been approved or not for granting of visa before applying/seeking admission/ paying fees.
