Consul General visited model village housing scheme aided by India in Malayalapuram, Kilinochchi

1. As part of his study visits to the model village housing scheme aided by India in each district of Sri Lanka, Consul General Balachandran has already visited the housing sites in Jaffna, Mannar, Vavuniya and Mullaitivu. This morning (24 Feb) he visited Malayalapuram in Kilinochchi district to conclude the study in the Northern Province. He inspected each housing unit, amenities available there and interacted with the beneficiaries in the presence of NHDA and local officials to learn of their living conditions there.
