Blood Donation Camp organized by Consulate General of India, Jaffna on 18.11.2021

1. As part of the celebrations of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Consulate General of India, Jaffna along with Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA), Jaffna jointly organized a Blood Donation Camp today (18th November,2021) at YMCA Hall, Jaffna.

2. The programme began with the lighting of lamp by Shri Raakesh Natraj, Hon’ble Consul General, Mr. R. Vinoth, Chairman, YMCA, Rev. Anthony Suthakar, City Mission Church, Jaffna, Rev. Thevamithiran Vice Principal, Jaffna College, Vaddukoddai & Dr. Sri Jayabaskaran Medical Officer, Jaffna Teaching Hospital,. Hon’ble Mayor of Jaffna V. Manivannan also graced us with his presence. 22 volunteers including Consul General and other officials of the Consulate donated blood to mark the celebrations. This is the part of a series of events that Consulate General of India, Jaffna is organizing to celebrate 75 years of Indian independence. Consulate General of India, Jaffna had also organized a Blood Donation Camp earlier in April this year.
