A friendly Volleyball game between Officers & personnel of Consulate General of India, Jaffna and Representative of Army Officers of 512 Brigade on 19.02.2022.

1. As part of the festivities under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Officers & personnel of Consulate General of India, Jaffna and Representative of Army Officers of 512 Brigade played together a friendly Volleyball series on 19th February, 2022.

2. Consul General Shri Raakesh Natraj and Colonel KC Jagath Kumara NCC, Civil Affairs Coordinating Officer, 512 Infantry Brigade jointly kick-started the series by serving the ball. Colonel GAT Godewatte RWP RSP Commander 512 Infantry Brigade also attended the event. Consul General Shri Raakesh Natraj also gave away trophies to both teams as a memento.

3. The relationship between two countries is more than 2500 years old and activities like these would further cement the bonds of friendship between India and Sri Lanka.
