Celebrations of Mahashivaratri at Eezhathu Chidambaram Temple, Karainagar, Jaffna

1. As part of festivities Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Consulate General of India, Jaffna celebrated Mahashivatari at Eezhathu Chidambaram Temple, Karainagar, Jaffna on 01st March, 2022.

2. As part of the celebrations, Hon’ble Consul General Shri Raakesh Natraj along with the Consulate staff offered a prayer for the well being of the people of India and Sri Lanka. Later, the Consulate set-up a community kitchen at the temple premises where Consul General & Consulate staff prepared and served “Sacred Food” to more than 400 devotees of the shrine.
