Distribution of kerosene to the fishermen of the Northern Province of Sri Lanka. 28.05.2022

1.On the special request of fishermen association of the islands of Jaffna in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka, the Government of India has provided 15000 liters of kerosene gifted to 700 fishermen of Delft island, Nainativu, Eluvaitivu and Analitivu. As a part of the distribution, Shri Raakesh Natraj, Consul General with Fisheries Min Hon. Douglas Devananda initiated distribution today; part of consignment will also power ferry service between islands.
