The India-AI Impact Summit 2026, to be held from 15-20 February 2026 in New Delhi, will be the first-ever global AI Summit hosted in the Global South signaling the shift towards a more inclusive global AI dialogue.
Aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of democratizing technology, the Government of India is positioning Artificial Intelligence as a primary tool for solving real-world challenges. The Summit focuses on three pillars of “People, Planet, and Progress” to ensure AI development translates into tangible improvements in lives worldwide.
As a strategic precursor to the India AI Impact Summit 2026, approximately 300 pre-summit events have been organized to bring in diverse perspectives and build momentum ahead of the Summit; out of which 57 pre-summits have been held across 25+ countries. The event features a lineup of global initiatives, including;
• YUVAi, AI by HER, and AI for ALL programs have garnered over 15,000 registrations from 135 countries and around 4700 submissions, with strong Global South participation.
• India AI Tinkerpreneur challenge will showcase top 50 projects from school students from Class 6 to 12.
• UDAAN, a global AI pitch fest to connect high-potential startups with investors and policymakers.
• Six international compendiums on AI in Health, Energy, Gender, Agriculture, Education, and Disabilities to be launched to showcase high-impact public good use cases.
• The AI Impact Expo to showcase global, state, enterprise, and startup innovations.
• A Research Symposium featuring AI research from Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
